Karting Tools ("the app") is made by Michał Grzywacz ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles. Short version: we have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no ads. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
Lap times, driver names, timing sessions, tyre pressure readings, kart setups, track names and app settings are saved only in the app's local database on your device. We never receive or see this data. It is removed when you use Settings → Delete all data or uninstall the app.
When you save a tyre pressure reading, the app may ask for permission to use your approximate location. It is used for one purpose only: fetching the current weather (temperature, humidity, air pressure, conditions) so it can be saved alongside the reading.
If you turn on Volume Keys in Settings, the app listens for the volume buttons while the Timing screen is open, to record laps. No audio is recorded and nothing leaves your device.
If you export a session, the app opens the standard system share sheet. Data goes only where you choose to send it.
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and does not sell or share personal data. The only third party contacted is Open-Meteo, as described above.
The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
